Pre-K – Kindergarten

2021-2022 Queen of All Saints School of Religion – Early Childhood Program: Pre-K – Kindergarten

Catechist: Mrs. Annabelle Albattre

Welcome!

The early childhood program is intended for students in pre-k and kindergarten.

It is a religion readiness program designed to help the children encounter the Lord, the Blessed Virgin Mary, and the church.  It is intended to help the children develop an understanding of what happens at mass as they listen to the stories of God’s love from the Bible and the teachings of the church while their parents are attending the mass.

It is imperative and very important that the students attend Sunday mass, and class, and that the parent/s or legal guardian attend Sunday mass, and general parent meetings. This is the basic requirement so the children will get introduced and grow in familiarity of the sacramental life and mission of the church.

During the course of the year we will be using our primary textbook published by RCL Benziger entitled Stories of God’s Love  Pre-School 3-4. It comes in 30 leaflets that the children can take one leaflet home after each class. Parents are expected to do a follow-through, and or lead the at-home activity.

Stay connected with us and our parish – your home parish QAS.

Please do not hesitate to speak with us for any questions or concerns you may have. This is a collaborative effort. We are here to support and empower you as the primary catechist of your child.
