Level 4

2021-2022 Queen of All Saints School of Religion – Level 4

Catechist: Ms. Lisa McGhie

Welcome!

Level 4 is for students in their fourth grade. This is part of the ongoing formation classes between receiving the sacraments of first penance and reconciliation, and first eucharist also known as first holy communion, and confirmation when they reach the age or grade level as prescribed by the diocese.

It is imperative and very important that the students attend Sunday mass, and class, and that the parent/s or legal guardian attend Sunday mass, and general parent meetings. This is the basic requirement so the children will continue to be nurtured in their faith as they develop a deeper understanding and appreciation of our catholic faith and tradition.

Ongoing formations along with accompaniment in faith both by the parent and parish community are ideal to help strengthen their faith and love for God, the Blessed Virgin Mary, and His church.  This should also lead to a gradual preparation for confirmation when they reach the proper age or grade level prescribed by the diocese.

During the course of the year we will be using our primary textbook published by Loyola Press entitled Finding God Our Response to God’s Gifts Grade 4 2021 edition, along with additional handouts given during class, and or sent via email to the parents.

Stay connected with us and our parish – your home parish QAS.

Please do not hesitate to speak with us for any questions or concerns you may have. This is a collaborative effort. We are here to support and empower you as the primary catechist of your child.
